Entry types

Entry Type 01

Two-touch retest long — support level

LONG
Price approaches a named structural level from above. Touch 1 registers as price enters the touch zone. Price pulls back. Touch 2 returns to the level with momentum exhausting. Long entry fires on the Touch 2 bar. Applicable to all named structural levels (Asian Low, PDL, PWL, PML, Friday Close).
StepConditionAction
Touch 1Price enters touch zone from aboveTouch bar recorded — 15-bar retest window starts
PullbackPrice moves above the zoneTouch tracker held — waiting for Touch 2
Touch 2Price returns within 15 bars, ATR contractingMomentum exhaustion gate evaluated

ExitDynamic TP grade assignedSL 40pts below entry
Evidence: W3 Monday 4 May 2026 — Asian Low 27,800.75 two-touch retest. Liquidity Sweep signal. Price continued to Asian High 27,966.50 (+166pts). A+ grade — structured TP applicable. Confirmed baseline trade for forward test.
Entry Type 02

Two-touch retest short — resistance level

SHORT
Price approaches a named structural level from below. Touch 1 registers as price enters the touch zone. Price pulls back. Touch 2 returns to the level with momentum exhausting. Short entry fires on the Touch 2 bar. Applicable to all named structural levels (Asian High, PDH, PWH, PMH, ATH).
StepConditionAction

ExitDynamic TP grade assignedSL 40pts above entry
Evidence: Multiple confirmed instances across W2–W4. Asian High, PDH, and PWH all demonstrated clean two-touch resistance rejections in forward test sessions.
Entry Type 03

Overhead retest long — level flips to support

LONG
Price is below a named structural level. An impulsive bullish candle breaks through the level decisively. Price then pulls back to retest the level from above. The level has flipped from resistance to support. Long entry fires on the retest with momentum exhausting. The opposite-side retest tracker is distinct from the two-touch tracker — this pattern is a new feature in v1.7.
StepConditionAction

SignalQualifying bullish pattern on retest barEntry fires — LONG
Evidence: W3 Tuesday 5 May 2026 — PDH flip at 27,960. Impulsive break above PDH, overhead retest, continuation long to ATH 28,189 (+229pts). W3 Friday 8 May 2026 — PDH overhead retest at 09:40 (~28,960), continuation to ATH 29,383 (+423pts) — missed due to Blackout 1. Blackout execution gate fix recovers this entry type in v1.7.
Entry Type 04

Underside retest short — level flips to resistance

SHORT
Price is above a named structural level. An impulsive bearish candle breaks through the level decisively. Price then rallies back to retest the level from below. The level has flipped from support to resistance. Short entry fires on the retest with momentum exhausting. Mirror image of Entry Type 3.
StepConditionAction
ApproachPrice above level — level active as supportStandard level monitoring
BreakImpulsive bearish candle breaks through level (min 1× ATR body)Flip candidate — opposite-side retest tracker activated
Sell-offPrice confirms below levelFlip confirmed — level now resistance
RallyPrice retraces to level from belowRetest window active — ATR contracting required
SignalQualifying bearish pattern on retest barEntry fires — SHORT
Evidence: W4 Tuesday 12 May 2026 — PDL underside retest SHORT. Price broke below PDL impulsively, brief rally back to PDL from below, bearish structure confirmed (lower highs / lower lows). Correct short — missed because HTF EMA was bullish. Momentum exhaustion gate resolves this in v1.7. W4 Wednesday 13 May — Asian High underside retest SHORT (reference case RC-STRUCT-01), missed due to Blackout 1.
Entry Type 05

HTF sentiment retest long — EMA defended as support

LONG
The HTF 4H EMA briefly flips bearish for 1–3 bars then immediately reverses. This brief flip-and-reversal pattern demonstrates active defence of the EMA as support — buyers tested the level and held it. A subsequent pullback to the EMA within 15 bars constitutes Touch 2. Long entry fires with momentum exhausting into the EMA. Toggle: Enable HTF Sentiment Retest Entry (ON by default Pro/Master, OFF for Basic).
StepConditionAction

Brief flipEMA flips bearish for 1–3 bars onlyTouch 1 registered — active price discovery at EMA
ReversalImmediate reversal — buyers defend EMAFlip confirmed as defence, not genuine trend change
PullbackPrice pulls back to within 20pts of EMA (within 15 bars)Touch 2 — ATR contracting into EMA required
SignalQualifying bullish pattern on retest barEntry fires — LONG
Evidence: RC-HTF-01 (5 May 2026) — HTF EMA/PWH confluence retest LONG, +229pts to ATH 28,945. RC-HTF-02 (13 May 2026) — HTF EMA retest LONG at ~29,150 following brief bearish flip and immediate reversal, +330pts continuation to ATH 29,481. Zero Oracle v1.6.1 capture on both — no named level at EMA position. V1.7 forward test data to inform v1.8 integration weight.
Entry Type 06

ATH breakout — psychological level TP with 70pt trail

LONG
When price is above all named structural levels simultaneously (PDH, PWH, PMH, Asian High, prior ATH), Oracle enters ATH breakout mode. Entries are triggered by a PDH or PWH flip and overhead retest. The TP routes to the nearest 100pt psychological round number rather than a named structural level. If price breaks through the psychological TP, the exit switches to a 70pt ratcheting trailing stop for continuation capture.
StepConditionAction

TP targetNearest 100pt psychological level above entrye.g. entry at 28,960 → TP at 29,000
TrailPrice breaks through psychological TP level cleanlyExit switches to 70pt ratcheting trailing stop
Evidence: W3 Friday 8 May 2026 — PDH retest at 09:40 (~28,960), price continued to ATH 29,383 (+423pts). Psychological levels at 29,000, 29,100, 29,200, 29,300 all produced reaction points during the rally. W4 Wednesday 13 May — ATH 29,565 reached via PDH overhead retest. Three consecutive ATH breakout sessions in W2–W3 with zero Oracle capture due to no structural TP target available above all levels. ATH breakout mode is the direct architectural response.
Section 02

Momentum exhaustion gate

The momentum exhaustion gate is applied to all six entry types as the final quality check before execution. It distinguishes between a level being respected (price approaching with contracting momentum) and a level being violated (price breaking through with expanding momentum).

Valid entry — ATR contracting
ATR bars shrinking into level touch
Momentum exhausting as price approaches. Level is being tested, not broken. Entry permitted at A, A+ or B grade depending on contraction strength.
Entry permitted
Blocked entry — ATR expanding
ATR bars growing into level touch
Momentum accelerating as price approaches. Level is being violated, not tested. Entry suppressed regardless of signal pattern or HTF bias.
Entry suppressed
ATR condition (final 3 bars vs 10-bar average)GradeTP method
Strong contraction — ATR >20% below 10-bar averageA+Structured TP — nearest named structural level
Moderate contraction — ATR 10–20% below 10-bar averageADynamic R:R — 2× SL = 80pts
Flat or minimal — ATR within 10% of 10-bar averageBFixed TP — 25pts
Expanding — ATR above 10-bar averageBlockedNo entry — level being violated
Section 03

Dynamic TP selection framework

Entry quality determines exit ambition. The SL is always 40pts beyond the entry level — identical across all grades. Only the upside target changes. This means higher quality entries earn higher P&L potential with no additional downside risk.

A+
Structured TP
Nearest named structural level
Strong ATR contraction — >20% reduction in final 3 bars
A
Dynamic R:R
2 × SL = 80pts from entry
Moderate ATR contraction — 10–20% reduction
B
Fixed TP
25pts from entry
Flat or minimal contraction — <10% change
PriorityStructured TP level (A+ grade)Notes

2PDH / PDLPrior day reference levels
3PWH / PWLPrior week reference levels
4PMH / PMLPrior month reference levels
5Friday CloseWeekly reference level
6ATHAll-time high — short bias ceiling only
7Psychological level (100pt round number)ATH breakout mode only — all named levels exceeded

Minimum structured TP: 40pts (if nearest level is within SL distance, auto-downgrades to Dynamic R:R). Maximum structured TP: 300pts (beyond this, Dynamic R:R with trail activates).
